Write for us
We welcome proposals that help readers see rural gardens, plants and landscapes with greater clarity. Send pitches through the Contact page, with a concise outline and the category or categories that best fit.
What to propose
Pitch an original, focused article about garden form, plant characteristics, landscape reading, seasonal change or outdoor craft. Useful proposals have a clear reader question, a distinct point of view and a scope that can be handled without unsupported claims.
What makes a strong pitch
Tell us the proposed subject, the central idea, why it suits Rural Beauty Journal and what readers will take away. Mention relevant experience only where it directly supports the piece; do not send confidential material or present unverified claims as fact.
How to send it
Use the Contact page and select the editorial question option, then identify your message as a contribution proposal. A proposal is not a promise of publication, and any commissioned work will need to meet the Journal's standards for accuracy, originality and clear attribution.
